If your Website or Blog is about something you are totally familiar with, and feel comfortable discussing it.. then consider forums, or blogs that allow comments.
This is an AMAZING way to get lots of targeted FREE traffic to your site! This was an amazing discovery for me.
Example: I have a weight loss site, and I am totally familiar with trying to lose weight. So, I searched "weight loss forums and also weight loss blogs" in the search browser, and took a look at the top three blogs/forums that allowed comments and discussions.
Usually the first page of the search results get a lot of traffic. I added my comments or had discussions and added my website to the signature address.
The next day I happened to check my stats and was blown away with the amount of traffic I received from people following the forum discussion that clicked on my URL address, to check me out. My adsense income was its highest for a long time, and this didn't cost me any money, just a bit of time and thought, into some great discussions on your niche subject.
Plus, as an added bonus, these visitors were completely targeted free traffic, as they were watching the weight loss discussion because it was most likely important to them.
So whatever your niche is, find a forum and add to a discussion, or leave a comment on a very popular blog (from the first page of the search)and visitors, who are following that site, will come and check out yours!
